Cleide Gonçalves Ferreira – São Paulo – São Paulo

Social Educator acting as a trainer in community communication in poor neighborhoods of the metropolitan area of São Paulo.

 


Edilene de Oliveira – Macapá- Amapá

Communicator and producer of the Cyberela Studio where she records campaigns and radio materials which are broadcasted in community radios spread around the territory of the State of Amapa.

 


Geralda Ferraz – Goiânia – Goiás

She presents the program “Voice of the Women” in the University Radio of Goiânia and she trains students in the laboratories and studios where classes on Social Communication take place. She also presents the program “Word of Women” and “Women Moment” on the Radio Station “Diffuser” of Goiânia.


 

Iara de Fátima Bueno – Porto Alegre – Rio Grande do Sul

Popular trainer in radio and Internet and in computers. She also acts in the women movement of the cit of Porto Alegre.

 


Kelly Schulman – Friburgo – Rio de Janeiro

She is a sound technician and producer of the Community Radio of Friburgo. The training and the equipments have leverage the technical quality of the radio.

 


Micheline Américo – Palmares – Pernambuco

Journalist and editor of the program “Radio Women” which deals daily with gender issues. She also coordinates the project “Connection G” with the objective of contributing to the digital inclusion of women and their sexual and reproductive rights through the use of CITs



Rachel Quintiliano - São Paulo - São Paulo

Journalist, acting as trainer in community communication and radio web in highly vulnerable communities located in the outskirts of São Paulo. She is the creator of the on-line radio “Biboca”.

 


Ruth Lucimar Gomes – Rio Branco – Acre

She coordinates and presents the program “Women in the Air” which is broadcasted in the “Radio Diffuser Acreana”, taking information to the most remote areas of the Amazon forest in the State of Acre.

Fátima Santágata – Boca do Acre – Amazonas

She coordinates the Rádio Jagube and the Telecenter Nova Idéia, which are located in the Amazon Forest broadcasting information for remote and isolated population.

 



Rose Rios – Retirolândia – Bahia

Presenter of the Rádio Arcos FM, teacher and member of the community radio movement in the State of Bahia.

 

 

Among the Cyberelas selected in the first contest, three have not continued the project for several reasons: lack of support for infrastructure, scarcity of technical resources and low understanding of the importance of the project.


Who are the cyberelas – second contest

Adriana de Lima Gomes – Solidão - Pernambuco

She works at the Rural Workers Union of Solidão and she was trained for inserting the issues related to gender in the radio program broadcasted by this Union.

 


Ana Maria Carvalho – Aracaju - Sergipe

Journalist and presenter of the Program “Clube do Ouvinte” in the Radio Cultura of Aracaju. The program broadcasts local, national and international information; issues related to spirituality, music and it has a broad female audience.

 

Ansleíria Rodrigues – Santarém – Pará

Coordinator of the project Radio for Education focused on discussion with Youth about topics related to school and community. It also presents a program directed to women, which is broadcasted on Saturdays on the “Rádio Educativa Rural de Santarém”.

 

Edvalda Torres – Paulo Afonso – Bahia

Agro ecological educator, pedagogue and coordinator of a non-governmental organization called AGENDHA. Together with young women, she has developed a weekly radio program, which reaches audiences in neighboring towns.

 


Eloíde Macedo – Pintadas – Bahia

Member of the Women Association of Pintadas, she develops an educational work in the community and is very active in a popular endeavor called “Delícias do Sertão”, a popular bakery and restaurant. She coordinated the telecenter in this town.

 

Lígia Apel – Santarém - Pará

Journalist and coordinator of a capacity building project focused on young population living along the riverside.

 

 

Lúcia Helena Martins – Belém – Pará

Communicator and member of the Movement for Grouping the Women of the State of Pará.

 

 

Maria Betânia Buarque – Campestre – Alagoas

Artistic director of the Rádio Campestre FM and presenter of the program “Women Panorama” broadcasted weekly. The radio is the only mean of communication in the town.

 

 

Miriam Cunha – Valente - Bahia

Reporter and radio announcer in the Community Radio of Valente. This radio station has the support of the Association of Small Agricultural producers of the State of Bahia.

 

 

Nelma Pereira – Lençóis – Bahia

Announcer and coordinator of the Rádio Laúza FM, she presents the program called Touch which deals with the issues of the daily life of women. She also coordinates the NGO “Avante Lençóis” focused on trainings for youth.



Roberta Pacheco – Nazaré da Mata - Pernambuco

Audio operator of the Community Radio Alternative FM which is an initiative of the NGO “AMUNAM” (Association of the Women of Nazaré da Mata).



Tatiana de Souza Neves – Boca da Mata - Alagoas

Presenter of the daily program in the Community Radio Boca da Mata, acting in the social programs sponsored by the radio.

 

 

Tânia Barbosa – Teresina - Piauí

Coordinator of several activities promoted by the Group of Women of Piauí, she was also the announcer of the radio program “Mulher em Sintonia”. The group is searching for a new radio station to broadcast the program.





Viviane Couto – Olinda – Pernambuco

Radio operator and communication assistant of the NGO “Cais do Parto”, she also coordinates all the projects developed by this organization.

 

 

Two cyberelas selected in the second contest (one from Salvador-BA and one from Castanhal-PA) have not continued the project.
